Betsson Sponsors 2023 Women’s Handball World Championship

Betsson has decided to back the global Women’s Handball World Championship.

Betsson has inked a deal to sponsor the International Handball Federation (IHF) 2023 Women’s Handball World Championship.

Betsson will be a supporter of the Women’s Handball World Championship. As a sponsor, Betsson’s brand will be displayed on the large screens at the matches.

The competition will be held in Sweden, Norway, and Denmark from November 29th to December 17th.

Thirty-two teams will compete. Norway triumphed in the last championship in 2021, overcoming France in the final.

The IHF President, Hassan Moustafa, stated, “We are thrilled to have Betsson join the Women’s Handball World Championship. We’ve partnered with Betsson, an online gaming enterprise, and we’re going to make this event truly exhilarating!”

Robin Öllerenius, Betsson’s PR Manager, remarked, “We’re enthusiastic to support women’s athletics. We aim to generate excitement for the championship worldwide.”

Betsson has a history of sponsoring women’s sports. Last year, Betsson was the primary sports betting partner for the 2022 Copa América Femenina, the women’s edition of the Copa América football tournament.

Betsson also backs the female football squads of Athletico Paranaense and Boca Juniors.
