This inclusion places them within a collective of over 45 organizations and 125 sports betting entities, all focused on maintaining the utmost principles of ethical conduct within the sector.

IBIA plays a vital part in this endeavor by employing advanced methods to identify and flag any questionable actions within their members’ betting platforms.

This collaboration holds particular significance in the North American region, where the sports betting market is experiencing swift expansion. The head of IBIA, Khalid Ali, extended a warm welcome to BetParx, underscoring their commitment to safeguarding the integrity of their system and the athletic contests they feature.

Throughout 2022, IBIA’s actions yielded 268 effective notifications to appropriate agencies, showcasing its proactive strategy in detecting and tackling potential risks to the integrity of sports betting. These initiatives led to athletic or legal penalties against 15 clubs, officials, or players, with some receiving permanent bans, highlighting the gravity of IBIA’s purpose and the potency of its cooperative methodology.
